The Challenge — Day 79

The women carried spices to anoint the body of Jesus. Surprisingly, they found the stone rolled away from the entrance. Angels announced to them: He is risen — He is not here. The women were amazed. They were afraid. They ran from the place!

There were many sightings of Jesus after His resurrection. Those who saw told others, but they were met with unbelief. He even appeared to the eleven as they were eating a meal. Jesus told them to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.

The church still has the commission to take the Gospel to the whole world. His Spirit works in us and through us to accomplish this mission.
