Sunday Morning Worship
9:00 a.m. – 9:20 a.m. come join us for Prayer and Praise time in our sanctuary, conducted by a talented group of musicians known as Out of the Boat. Join in the singing as they play uplifting contemporary music, interspersed with prayer and a short devotional. A great way to get your Sunday morning jump-started.
Also, 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. there is a time of community fellowship which occurs in our “Commons” area. Plenty of coffee and donuts are available as well as lots of good conversation. This is a time when members and visitors have an opportunity to get to know each other—to renew friendships and develop new ones!
Sunday School is 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Age appropriate classes are available for all children, elementary age through high school. Adults (young and older alike) have a variety of classes to choose from. A staff member can assist those looking for a class.
Our Worship Service is 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., is a blended service that features many traditional elements and a variety of musical styles led by Rev. Doug Wintermute, Senior Pastor, and Rev. Barbara Hugghins, Associate Pastor, with musical assistance from our Chancel Choir led by Mike Kellogg, Director of Music Ministries . 5th Sunday music is lead by Out of the Boat, with a blend of contemporary and traditional music.
A fully-staffed nursery is provided for those who need child care.
Children have a special time during the service where they may come to the front of the church and hear a children’s message, presented by Stacy Boyer, Director of Children’s Ministries. The children are then dismissed and may go to Children’s Church where they experience age-appropriate worship, music and other activities.
The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month during the morning worship service and on special occasions throughout the year. There is no Children’s Church on these Sundays, as we want the children to be able to experience Holy Communion with their families. On these Sundays, activity bags are available for the children.
